Mrs. Catherine Lothrop

Mrs. Catherine Lothrop graduated from Stonehill College in Easton, MA with a Bachelor of Arts in both Early Childhood Education and Spanish in 2003. She worked for Southbay Mental Health in Brockton and then became a first grade teacher in the Spanish/English two-way program at the Amone School in Brockton, MA. Catherine later worked as a Community Support Person and Service Coordinator for Baystate Community Services. She and her husband Doug homeschooled their four children, Isaac, Grace, Joel, and Elliot for four years, during which time Catherine tutored for Classical Conversations in in Kingston, MA. Catherine feels grateful and blessed to serve the first grade class and to be a part of the community at Samuel Fuller School.

What do you love most about teaching?

"I love being able to work in a school setting where I can teach my students about God openly and freely. I love seeing my students grow spiritually, socially, and academically, and there is nothing that brings me more joy than to see my students learning and worshiping Jesus!"
