THE COURSE:
The race covers an adventurous course through some beautiful conservation land in the town of Middleboro. The well marked trail winds through the fields of the Picone Farm. Picone Farm is a 190-acre property in Middleboro, MA, that was purchased by the town in 2023 to preserve its prime farmland and Nemasket River frontage. The town divided the land into a conservation area with community gardens and walking trails, and a farmland portion leased to a private operator, Greensmith Farm, which sells agricultural products on-site. The conservation land offers walking trails that connect to the adjacent Peter Oliver Estate and is a popular spot for outdoor recreation.
